Procedure
- Chop onions and tomatoes
- Clean fish pieces thoroughly (preferably with rock salt)
- Soak Tamarind in water for few minutes and prepare taramind pulp. Make sure the pulp is not too thick and not too diluted.
- Take a bowl and add fish pieces, salt, turmeric powder and chilli powder
- Add tamarind pulp to the fish pieces in right amount
- Soak the fish pieces for few minutes (10-15 minutes)
- Take a cooking bowl, pour oil and heat it.
- Add Mustard Seeds and Menthulu (Fenugreek Seeds).
- Add chopped onions, tomatoes and curry leaves and heat them for a few seconds.
- Add tamarind pulp and heat the ingredients till boiling point
- Now add soaked fish pieces and heat them in light flame (place a lid on the bowl)
- If needed add salt, and chilli powder to taste
- Cook them for about 10-15 minutes till the fish pieces turn soft

Procedure
- Clean fish pieces thoroughly (preferably with rock salt)
- Soak Tamarind in water for few minutes and prepare taramind pulp. Make sure the pulp is not too thick and not too diluted.
- Add Salt, Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder to the fish pieces
- Add tamarind pulp to the fish pieces in right amount (just enough to spread all over the fish piece)
- Soak the fish pieces for at least 30 minutes
- Take out the fish pieces and dip them in Maida/Corn Flour
- Take a pan and add oil
- Fry the pieces in low flame for about 10 minutes or till they turn darkish brown.

- mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp

- turmeric powder - a pinch
- red chilly powder - 1 1/2 tsp
- salt to taste
Preparation
- Take a bowl, add oil and heat it.
- Now add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Add chopped onions, tomatoes. Stir it till the onions turn light brown.
- Now add chopped brinjals, salt, turmeric powder, and red chilly powder
- Add water and heat it till the brinjals become soft.

- Prawns - 250g
- Onions - 1
- Oil - 3 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Garam Masala
- Dhaniyala podi (Coriander powder)
- Coriander leaves
- Water - 1/2 cup
Procedure
- Take a cooking bowl, add oil.
- Add mustard seeds (aavaalu), curry leaves, and onions.
- Add prawns, salt, turmeric powder, and chilli powder.
- Add a little bit of garam masala
- Add water and mix the ingredients properly. Heat for 15-20 minutes till the prawns are cooked properly.
- Add dhaniyala podi (Coriander powder) when there is little water left in the bowl. Heat it for a couple of minutes.
- Finally add coriander leaves before serving
Ingredients:
- Tur dal - 1/2 cup
- onion - 1
- tomato - 1
- red chillies - 2
- green chillies - 3
- mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- oil - 2 tsp
- curry leaves - a few
- tamarind pod - 1
- turmeric powder - a pinch
- salt to taste
- water - 1 1/2 cup (three times the quantity of dal)
Preparation:
- Clean Tur Dal with water and put into the cooking vessel or pressure cooker.
- Cut onions, tomato, and green chillies into small pieces and add them to Dal.
- Then add turmeric powder, tamarind pod, and pour water.
- Heat the contents until you get 3 whistles (if you are using pressure cooker)
Heat the contents until the dal becomes tender (if you are using a cooking vessel)
- Leave it for 5-10 minutes until the heat reduces a bit
- Now mash the contents in the vessel or pressure cooker and add salt
- Take a separate pan, add oil and heat it.
- Add mustard seeds, red chillies, and curry leaves and heat it for a few seconds.
- Finally add this to the mashed dal, heat it for 2-3 minutes, and serve it with hot rice.
